ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA
Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental.
Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita : elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.
The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB
As a Sommelier, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional wine experience to our guests, from presentation and service to expert advice and cellar management.
Your main responsibilities will include:
Serve wines at the table following professional standards: opening, decanting, presentation and commentary, tasting, and serving by the glass
Maintain excellent knowledge of all wine products
Contribute to high-quality guest reception and service
Perform end-of-service tasks: cleaning, organizing, and preparing for the next service
Ensure all work areas are kept in optimal condition (cleanliness, maintenance, and functionality)
Act as a mentor: share knowledge with the team through tastings and training sessions
Stay up to date on the latest wine trends and have thorough knowledge of the food menu
Analyze sales to manage restocking and inventory
Manage the restaurant wine cellar, including wine selection and placing orders
Monitor stock levels and ensure proper storage and preservation of bottles
ABOUT YOU
You have proven experience as a Sommelier or in a similar role.
You have an excellent professional appearance, and you are dynamic and motivated.
You possess strong organizational skills, work efficiently, have a good team spirit, and excellent interpersonal skills.
You are attentive to detail and always focused on guest needs.
You communicate easily with both teams and guests, using appropriate and professional communication skills in Italian and English.
Knowledge of Micros systems would be an advantage.
Finally, you are available to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
