Accounting Supervisor

As we prepare for our imminent reopening, we are seeking an Accounting Supervisor to join our Finance Team.

Role Description:

As Accounting Supervisor, you will play a vital leadership role within the Finance Department, ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficiency of all financial operations. You will oversee daily accounting functions, maintain strong internal controls, support strategic financial decision-making, and ensure compliance with all company policies and local regulations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

 • Monitoring revenues, expenses, and analyzing variances

 • Overseeing day-to-day accounting operations (AP, AR, income audit)

 • Ensuring compliance with the hotel’s chart of accounts and company financial standards

 • Implementing and maintaining internal controls to safeguard assets

 • Ensuring compliance with local laws, regulations, and tax requirements

 • Assisting in tax return preparation and governmental filings

 • Reviewing balance sheet reconciliations for accuracy

 • Supporting senior management and the Director of Finance with analysis

 • Providing financial insights to identify trends and opportunities

 • Supporting daily cash management functions

 • Monitoring third-party billing, payments, and POS transactions

 • Additional responsibilities and tasks can be added at any time according to the needs of the business and of the hotel. 

 What We’re Looking For:

 • Proven experience in hotel or luxury-hospitality finance (supervisory level)

 • Strong knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls

 • Excellent analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

 • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail

 • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment

 • Proficiency in accounting and hotel systems (Opera Cloud, Business Central/Navision)

 • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach

 • Fluent in Italian. English or any additional language is an advantage.

 • Passion for excellence and commitment to delivering exceptional results
