MIXOLOGIST
Main purpose:
The Mixologist is in charge of creating and serving drinks and cocktails to Guests following the Company standards and procedures. The goal is to provide a luxury experience to ur Guests mixing, garnishing and serving beverages.
Reports to: Bar Manager.
Main duties & responsibilities:
• Engage the Guests following Rocco Forte Hotels service standards and procedures.
• Have full knowledge of all spirits, beers, and non-alcoholic beverages, including glassware, garnishes, preparation methods, ingredients and portion sizes;
• Interact with Guests to understand their preferences and recommend suitable drinks;
• Keep up with current industry trends;
• Have a great knowledge of alcohol history;
• Responsible of the cleanliness and tidiness of the Bar;
• Responsible of the equipment and supplies assigned to perform the service;
• Prepare cocktails for bar and restaurant Guests;
• Contribute to the achievement of economic targets of the bar;
• Ensure a positive and memorable experience for Guests through skilful bar tending and drink presentation;
• Comply with H&S national rules and company instructions.

Competencies required:
• Collaboration: Be able and willing to work as a team within the department and with other departments.
• Personal Effectiveness & Communication: Demonstrate self-control and present information clearly and with confidence.
• Personal development: Be open to and accept constructive feedback and use it to improve. Ongoing dialogue with Head of Department on own performance objectives.
• Business orientation: Be able to follow guidelines and priorities assigned by Head of the Department in order to achieve goals in a timely and satisfactory way. Perform his/her tasks with integrity.
• Technical Skills: Demonstrate technical competence and knowledge related to the role.
Other requirements:
• English knowledge equivalent to level B1/B2;
• 3 years of professional experience in a similar role; working experience in well-known venues will be a plus;
• Mixology certifications will be a plus;
• Preferable evidence of self-development through specialized courses, conferences/workshops.
