ABOUT EXPERIMENTAL ROMA

Opening in mid-2026 on Via Ludovisi, just off the legendary Via Veneto, Experimental Roma will be a vibrant and cinematic new destination from Experimental.

Housed in a former bank, the hotel has been transformed by interior designer Rodolphe Parente into a space that embodies the essence of la dolce vita : elegant, timeless, and irresistibly Italian.

The property will feature 82 rooms, a restaurant, a bar, and a spectacular rooftop with a suspended pool offering breathtaking views over the magnificent cityscape of Rome.

ABOUT THE JOB

As part of the acquisition of the opening of Experimental Roma, we are looking for an Experienced General Accountant (M/F) in the hotel and restaurant sector.

Managing multiple entities, you will be responsible for analytical accounting and providing regular reports to management based in Paris. Your responsibilities will include:

• General Accounting: Preparing monthly working papers covering the balance sheet and profit & loss statement.

• Accounts Payable: Entering supplier invoices and processing payments within the required deadlines.

• Accounts Receivable: Entering customer invoices, following up on unpaid invoices, reconciling accounts, and tracking client payments.

• Cash Management: Monitoring cash flow, posting bank transactions, and performing bank reconciliations.

• Fixed Assets: Recording fixed assets according to internal coding and budget requirements.

• Payroll and Inventory Entries: Posting payroll journal entries and monthly inventory adjustments.

• Tax Compliance: Preparing tax declarations, including VAT, CVAE, and corporate income tax prepayments (in coordination with our accounting firm).

ABOUT YOU                 

We are looking for a candidate with a strong knowledge of accounting principles and at least two years of experience in a similar role.

You are comfortable using digital tools, including Excel, and have a genuine interest in the hotel and restaurant sector.

You are fluent in Italian and English. French is a plus.
