Assistant Financial Controller

We are looking for Assistant Finance Controller to join the finance department of Zannier Hotels to overlook the two properties in Namibia.

As assistant finance controller, you will manage the finance team with daily accounting, ensure financial data is accurate and up to date.

You ensure accounting, taxes and legal procedures are followed.

You will also be working on monthly closing, budget preparation and corrective action plans implementation.

The assistant finance controller will also work as business partner to the General Managers of the properties.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervise daily accounting team of the two properties including account payables, payroll, fixed assets, etc.
• Supervise monthly closing and yearly closing with accounting team
• Prepare yearly budget and forecasts
• Costs analysis and corrective action plan proposal
• Ensure legal and accounting procedures are in place
• Manage cash flow
• Prepare and ensure relation with external auditors
• Maintain and build communication with key stakeholders

Hard skills:

• Masters degree or equivalent
• +2 years experience in finance department
• Good understanding and knowledge of accounting in an hospitality environment
• Knowledge of pack office (especially excel)
• Knowledge of Sage
• English and Spanish
• Other language is a plus
